FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the data in the Mining Cockpit.

Where does the data in the Mining Cockpit come from?

Cryptohall24 collects network hashrate, difficulty, emission and pool distribution in its own monitoring, directly from the networks and the pools' public interfaces - every 15 minutes, checked against independent sources. Prices and market capitalisation come from established market data interfaces; device data corresponds to the manufacturers' specifications for each model.

How up to date are the figures?

The live values are updated every 15 minutes; each page states how current its figures are. The historical series go back as far as 2014, depending on the coin, and grow by one data point every day.

Why do the values differ from other sources?

The network hashrate is not a directly measurable quantity - it is estimated from block times and difficulty, so different sources arrive at slightly different values depending on the measurement window and timing. The pool distribution is measured from the blocks found over the past seven days, and prices vary by trading venue. Deviations in the single-digit percentage range are therefore normal and not an error.

Are the calculated results guaranteed?

No. The Mining Cockpit is a non-binding calculation tool: all results are snapshots based on current network data, prices and your inputs. Hashrate, difficulty and price change constantly - the results expressly do not constitute an assurance of future earnings, a forecast or investment advice.
