The Kaspa mining calculator shows you in seconds what a KAS miner earns at your electricity price: yield, electricity costs and break-even electricity price - based on the current network hashrate, the daily emission and the current price. The widget automatically relates your device, your electricity price and this network data to each other and shows the result in real time. Choose a model from the list, or enter hashrate and power consumption freely - for instance for a quote you're currently reviewing.

How to use the calculator

Select your Kaspa model at the top of the widget, for example from the Antminer KS series, or manually enter hashrate in TH/s and power consumption in watts. Then enter your actual electricity price per kilowatt-hour - this is the lever with the greatest influence on the result. The calculator then shows you the estimated daily yield in KAS and euros, the electricity costs and the break-even electricity price, i.e. the threshold up to which a device's calculation stays in positive territory. All outputs are a calculation example with no guarantee, based on current network data - hashrate and price change continuously, so every calculation is a snapshot, not a promise of earnings.

What determines Kaspa yield

Kaspa is mined exclusively with specialised kHeavyHash ASICs, such as the Antminer KS series. Your share of the daily yield results from the ratio of your own hashrate to the network hashrate, multiplied by the daily KAS amount paid out and the current price. Unlike Bitcoin, Kaspa doesn't reduce its payout in four-year jumps, but by a fixed, small factor every month - over twelve months the emission halves. How the network hashrate itself develops, and why it continuously shifts the yield, is explained on the Kaspa Network Hashrate page.

Two levers: efficiency and electricity price

Besides network developments, two factors determine how well a Kaspa miner performs: the device's efficiency in joules per terahash, and the electricity price used in the calculation. Older ASIC generations use noticeably more power for the same hashrate than current models - the calculator makes this difference directly visible via the efficiency figure in joules per hashrate unit. Cryptohall24 carries both new and inspected used Kaspa devices; the calculator can be used for both cases.

Mining at home or with hosting

The electricity price is the central input of every mining calculation. When operating at home, operating noise, waste heat and the available connection capacity are added as technical constraints. For professional operation outside your own four walls, Cryptohall24 hosts Kaspa ASICs from the Antminer KS series in its own partner data centres. Simply enter the electricity price relevant to you in the calculator to run your scenario. More on this at Mining hosting at Cryptohall24.

FAQ
Do you have questions? You may well find the right answer here.

How accurate is the Kaspa mining calculator?

The calculator works with daily updated network data from Cryptohall24's own monitoring - network hashrate, daily emission and price. The results are snapshots: if the network hashrate or the price changes, so does the result. The calculation does not come with any promise of future earnings.

Which Kaspa miners can I calculate?

All common kHeavyHash ASICs, including the Antminer KS series from Bitmain. The free-entry option also lets you check devices that aren't in the selection list - simply enter the hashrate and power consumption from the datasheet.

What electricity price should I calculate with?

Your actual price per kilowatt-hour is the most meaningful figure - it has the greatest influence on the result. The electricity price can be adjusted in the calculator at any time, for example to compare several locations or tariffs.

Why does my Kaspa yield change from month to month?

Kaspa doesn't reduce its daily emission in a single jump like a Bitcoin halving, but by a fixed, small factor every month. Over twelve months this adds up to a halving. In addition, your share changes with the network hashrate. Details on this are on the Kaspa Network Hashrate page.
