The Litecoin mining calculator shows you what a Scrypt miner earns at your electricity price - and with both yields: through merged mining, Litecoin miners simultaneously mine Dogecoin, with no additional computing power required. The calculator shows the LTC and DOGE shares separately and adds both together in euros.

The special feature: one device, two yields

Litecoin and Dogecoin share the Scrypt algorithm, and thanks to merged mining the same computing work secures both networks at the same time. In practice this means a Scrypt ASIC such as the Antminer L9 earns LTC and DOGE in parallel - and the Dogecoin share regularly makes up the larger part of the total yield. A Litecoin calculation without DOGE therefore significantly underestimates the result; this calculator always brings both sides together.

How to use the calculator

Select your Scrypt model, or freely enter hashrate in GH/s and power consumption in watts, plus your electricity price per kilowatt-hour. The calculator shows the estimated daily yield in LTC, DOGE and euros, the electricity costs and the break-even electricity price. All outputs are a calculation example with no guarantee, based on current network data - a snapshot, not a promise of earnings.

What determines Scrypt yield

Your share results from the ratio of your hashrate to the Scrypt network hashrate, multiplied by the daily payouts of both networks and their respective prices. Litecoin halves its block reward at fixed block heights - the next halving is calculated to fall in summer 2027. How the network hashrate develops is shown on the Litecoin Network Hashrate page.

Mining at home or with hosting

With Scrypt too, the electricity price decides. With low-cost energy, operating at home can be viable; for professional operation, Cryptohall24 hosts Scrypt ASICs in its own partner data centres. More on this at Mining hosting at Cryptohall24.

FAQ
Do you have questions? You may well find the right answer here.

Why does the calculator also show Dogecoin?

Because Litecoin miners automatically mine Dogecoin alongside via merged mining - the same computing work secures both networks. The DOGE share regularly makes up the larger part of the total yield and therefore belongs in any honest Litecoin calculation.

Which Litecoin miners can I calculate?

All common Scrypt ASICs, including the Antminer L series from Bitmain. The free-entry option also lets you check devices that aren't in the list.

When is the next Litecoin halving?

Calculated for summer 2027. The block reward then halves at a fixed block height - the daily LTC payout drops sharply, while the Dogecoin share is unaffected.

What electricity price should I calculate with?

Your actual price per kilowatt-hour is the most meaningful figure - it has the greatest influence on the result and can be adjusted in the calculator at any time.
