We handle the entire process: initial diagnosis, shipping to the manufacturer, ticket management, final testing and return shipping to you. You deal with a German contracting party and a dedicated contact in your own time zone. With the manufacturer’s warranty only, you arrange air freight, import and export handling and the manufacturer’s ticketing yourself - the effort and the downtime risk stay with you.

Description

Bitmain announced the Antminer S19 XP in November 2021 at its mining summit in Dubai, and shipping began in July 2022. The Bitcoin miner is built for the SHA-256 algorithm and can be used to mine Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash. We carry it in two levels, 134 and 141 TH/s, at 22.5 and 21.5 joules per terahash respectively. It is cooled by four fans, tips the scales at 14.2 kilograms and runs single-phase on 200 to 240 volts.

‍

Performance levels of the Antminer S19 XP

  1. S19 XP 134 TH/s at 3,010 watts (BTM-S19XP-134TH)
  2. S19 XP 141 TH/s at 3,031.5 watts (BTM-S19XP-141TH)

‍

Officially there is only the 141 TH/s level: 3,031.5 watts at 25 degrees, with a tolerance of three percent on hashrate and five percent each on power and efficiency. We carry the 134 TH/s level at 3,010 watts, as it is listed in the trade. The two levels are not on a par in efficiency: 22.5 joules per terahash for the 134, 21.5 for the 141.

‍

Design, power connection and cooling of the S19 XP

The housing measures 400 × 195.5 × 290 mm with the power supply already inside. The carton brings it to 570 × 316 × 430 mm at 16 kilograms. At 75 dB the S19 XP is not a quiet machine. It may run between 0 and 40 degrees and be stored between minus 20 and 70, as long as humidity stays between 10 and 90 percent and nothing condenses. It may run at up to 2,000 metres of altitude; from 900 metres the permitted maximum temperature drops by one degree every 300 metres. A single unit needs no exhaust system, only a spot where it can draw fresh, cool air at all times.

‍

Power arrives through two mains cables with IEC connectors, each rated for 10 amps, together no more than 20 amps at 200 to 240 volts and 47 to 63 hertz, and next to them sits the RJ45 socket for the network at 10/100 Mbit.

‍

Braiins OS has supported the S19 XP since release 23.02, and Vnish offers its own firmware for it. With either one, each hashboard can be throttled individually to save power or overclocked to gain hashrate, with overclocking eating into efficiency. If you want it, we install the firmware before dispatch for 29.90 euros net per unit; that applies only to miners you operate yourself, units in our hosting are excluded. A flashed firmware ends the warranty, Bitmain handles it that way and so do we.

‍

As standard, Bitmain gives a 365-day factory warranty on the machine, counted from the shipping date; our standard price always includes our own warranty.

‍

Comparison with the previous and next generation of the S19 XP

The S19 XP took over from the Antminer S19 Pro in Bitmain's line-up. The S19 XP was followed by the Antminer S21, and after that by the Antminer S21 Pro; the next generation is the air-cooled Antminer S23. Ordered by efficiency:

  • Antminer S19 Pro: 29.5 J/TH (110 TH/s at 3,250 W)
  • Antminer S19 XP: 21.5 to 22.5 J/TH (134 to 141 TH/s at 3,010 to 3,031.5 W)
  • Antminer S21: 17.5 J/TH (151 to 200 TH/s at 2,643 to 3,500 W)
  • Antminer S21 Pro: 15.0 J/TH (220 to 245 TH/s at 3,300 to 3,675 W)
  • Antminer S23: 11.0 J/TH (318 TH/s at 3,498 W)

‍

From the S19 Pro to the S19 XP the drop is eight joules per terahash, a good quarter. To the S21 it is another four joules per terahash, just under a fifth, and the S21 Pro takes off a further 2.5 joules per terahash. The S23 then removes another four joules per terahash compared with the S21 Pro, a good quarter. Within the S19 generation the S19 XP has two sister models: the Antminer S19K Pro at 105 to 120 TH/s and 23.0 J/TH, and the Antminer S19J XP at 151 TH/s and 21.5 J/TH. How much the S19 XP brings in per day compared with the other units we sell is worked out in the miner comparison.

‍

Verdict: Bitcoin mining with the Antminer S19 XP

The S19 XP is a solid miner. We have not run that many of them ourselves, but everything we have heard about it has been positive, and our own experience with it has been good as well. It has never caused any major problems.

‍

It used to be very expensive to buy, but in return it was more efficient than the other Bitcoin miners of its day. We can still recommend it today.

‍

Enter your electricity price and the level into the Bitcoin mining calculator and you will see what the S19 XP yields for you. The cockpit supplies the Bitcoin network hashrate and the price, and on the same page it keeps the Bitcoin mining pools including each pool's share and fee.

Warranty provided by our German Company

When you buy mining hardware via Cryptohall24, you get a guarantee of 12 months In contrast to manufacturer warranties, our warranty only begins when the hardware is sold to our customers and not as soon as it leaves the factory. Since there can often be several months between production and sale in the mining market, our customers often have a longer effective protection than with the pure manufacturer's warranty.
‍
Optionally, the hardware can be added to insured for up to 36 months become.

FAQ
Do you have any questions?

How does buying a miner work?

The process is clear and done in a few steps: you enquire about the device you want, you receive a written quote with the final price from us, and as soon as you accept it, we issue the invoice. After full payment is received, we trigger the order and the hardware is on its way to you.

That way you know where you stand at every point - from quote to delivery, a continuously supported process with a personal contact.

How can I pay?

You can pay conveniently by bank transfer in euros, in crypto (Bitcoin or USDC) or in cash against a receipt.

As throughout our business, payment is in advance: we trigger the order as soon as payment has been received in full. That keeps the process clean and predictable for both sides.

Are there discounts for larger quantities?

Yes, discounts are possible for larger quantities. How large they are depends on several factors - the device, the quantity, the delivery location and the respective procurement conditions.

That's why we state the right price best directly in an individual quote. Just tell us the model and the quantity you want and we'll work it out for you.

What is included in the delivery?

On modern ASIC miners the power supply is built firmly into the machine and is therefore always included - it does not have to be bought separately. An external power supply only existed with very old first-generation models.

So you receive a ready-to-run device. Whatever else specifically belongs to the respective product is stated in the product description; in case of doubt we clarify it in the quote.

Is the miner in stock and how quickly is it delivered?

You can see availability directly on the product; in case of doubt we confirm it in the quote. The majority of our hardware is located in our main warehouse in Hong Kong and is shipped from there directly to your destination.

Individual devices are in stock in Germany (Hamm) - those reach you particularly quickly. We state the concrete delivery date bindingly in the quote, as soon as device and destination are clear.

How is it delivered - internationally and with customs clearance too?

We deliver worldwide. We handle the shipping and the complete import processing including customs clearance for you - you don't have to deal with it yourself. We state the shipping costs transparently in the quote.

That way the miner arrives ready to use at your place or the desired site. On request we deliver directly to our hosting, then the device goes into operation without a detour.

What requirements do I need for operation?

To operate at home or in your own business you mainly need three things: a suitable power connection (ASIC miners draw several kilowatts continuously, large devices often three-phase power), enough space with ventilation, and a stable internet connection via LAN.

On top of that come noise and waste heat: air-cooled devices are very loud and heat the room noticeably. Anyone who doesn't meet these requirements usually has the miner hosted - then we take care of power, cooling and operation.

How do I set up the miner and can I get help?

Commissioning is straightforward: connect the device, plug it into the network and configure it to your mining pool and wallet. After that the miner runs around the clock.

We don't leave you alone with it - we support you with setting up pool and wallet and the first steps, even without prior experience. Your personal contact is available for questions.

What warranty do I have on the device?

As a German company we offer you 12 months' warranty on your hardware as standard.

Alternatively, you can exclude the warranty in the purchase contract and handle it via the manufacturer's warranty - then the device becomes cheaper. We offer both routes; which one makes sense for you we clarify in the quote.

Can I have this miner hosted directly instead of running it myself?

Yes. You can buy the device from us and have it hosted in the same step - then it runs at a site with low-cost electricity, without noise and heat at your home.

For many this is the most economical way. You can read how hosting works on our hosting page.

As a business customer, can I cancel or return?

We sell our devices to businesses (B2B). A statutory consumer right of withdrawal therefore does not apply in B2B business; in addition, we procure and import the hardware specifically for your order.

So you buy in a targeted and binding way. That's exactly why we calmly clarify the right device for your project before the quote - so you make the right choice from the start. If you have questions before buying, we are always reachable.
