The Cracker Card for CVITech Control Boards

The Cracker Card is a hardware add-on designed for Antminer ASIC devices equipped with a CVITech control board. It enables the installation of custom firmware on devices running stock firmware.

The card is physically connected to the CVITech control board and allows firmware to be installed using the standard installation method, including remote or over-the-air deployment.

‍

A Cracker Card is only required for ASICs equipped with a CVITech control board when installing custom firmware. Devices using other control board versions do not require additional hardware.

  • Antminer L9

Note: Only devices with a CVITech control board require this hardware add-on.

Installation Overview

  1. Power off the ASIC device
  2. Remove the device cover
  3. Connect the Cracker Card to the CVITech control board
  4. Reattach the cover
  5. Power on the device
  6. Install custom firmware using the standard method

Installing custom firmware may affect manufacturer warranty and support. The procedure should only be performed by technically experienced users.
