The Bitmain Antrack V1 is a hydro rack that holds four water-cooled miners of the S19 Hyd. and S21 Hyd. series and carries a load of up to 24 kilowatts. Pump, power distribution with its own circuit breakers and fans come fully installed, so no separate cooler is needed. The rack is supplied in three phases with 380 to 415 volts and 80 amps. Its net weight is 205 kilograms.
Which miners fit the Antrack V1
The four slots are meant for Bitmain's hydro miners; from our range, these include the Antminer S19 XP Hydro, the Antminer S21 Hydro, the Antminer S21+ Hydro and the Antminer S21 XP Hydro.
Important for operation: the pump must never run without miners installed. If fewer than four machines are in the rack, the inlet and outlet of the empty slots are connected directly with a hose and their valves opened; otherwise the pump will be damaged.
Cooling, power connection and installation of the Antrack V1
32 to 40 litres per minute flow through the circuit at no more than 3.5 bar. The coolant is water with 10 percent antifreeze, mixed from 2 litres of 50 percent antifreeze and 18 litres of pure water; more antifreeze impairs cooling and harms the pump. The pH should be between 7.8 and 8.5. At first start-up the conductivity is below 20 μS/cm; from 100 μS/cm the fluid is replaced. If it freezes where the miner is operated, antifreeze must be added to the circuit.
The built-in fans blow the heat out of the rack. For this, the room needs an air exchange of more than 12,000 cubic metres per hour, with clear air intake at the front and clear exhaust at the rear. Alternatively, the built-in plate heat exchanger passes the heat to an external cooling water circuit, which for four miners must deliver more than 32 litres per minute below 40 degrees.
The rack measures 1000 × 600 × 2000 mm, packed 2380 × 1170 × 805 mm at 310 kilograms. It operates at 15 to 45 degrees and 10 to 90 percent humidity without condensation, and can be stored at minus 20 to 70 degrees. For networking, the rack has an RJ45 port at 10/100 Mbit.
Verdict: hydro mining with the Bitmain Antrack V1
The Antrack V1 is a solid plug-and-play solution from Bitmain that we can recommend in principle. One drawback was the very expensive shipping.
For operation in Germany, however, the necessary certifications from Bitmain are missing. That is why we cannot offer the rack here without restrictions and do not sell it. The same applies to the second version, the Antrack V2.
